Previously, i blogged about Theresa Goh and how she was able to swim faster than me. Im still ashame of myself... =p

Now, theres Pin Xiu who decides to smash the world backstroke record locally.



I thought it would be a pity if the only pics released to Singapore are the ones of her posing beside the pool..



Soo.... heres Pin Xiu. On her way to the world record. I hope they bring me along when they go for the officially sanction swimming meets.

Alrite...he didnt win. Maybe for the Malaysian GP, he will win.

I finally got to sit down and do up some pics from Malaysia last evening. i think its time i stay hidden away from the sun for the next few months after yesterday's tanning session... I really do not wanna die young with skin cancer.



Anyway, view from my room... Darn cool huh? 'Very Mountain Resort' feel.



Like i say, Malaysia is really a good place to find nice hawker food. In the most unlikely places, i have one situated just 20mins from my hotel. Its open air and its bad news when you see the dark clouds.



Wanted to try the 'Koay Teow'...



Where the hell is my dark sauce?



And then....it started raining. =(



Soon...it started pouring! 2 x =(



Since i was there already...i went to the upmarket shopping centre beside this open air hawker centre to shop. Returning to find more food after the rain stops...



Okie, so you think Malaysia dont have nice scenary?



I take a boat to work everyday... Waaaoooo...



Its a tiring journey because we have to wake up early to catch the ride and it obviously took its toll on some of us...

As such, im back in Singapore. I cannot bear to go to NTUC later...

Im seriously contemplating to stay in Malaysia for good.

I mix well with the Malaysians. I love the food here...and things in Cold Storage here are at least 30% cheaper than what NTUC sells to us in Singapore.

During my short getaway over the weekend...back to 'Urban Jungle Singapore'..

I saw a rainbow.



I had the chance to indulge in some 'cheap' Singapore Seafood too. And no, i didnt go Newton. Newton are for rich people. I had mine in Taman Jurong.



Some funny clams..im not very sure what it is. I would have prefered oysters but...



Sotongs...i love sotongs!



Sambal Stingray! I wonder if they have it in Penang or Russia.

And obviously, the weekend like all other weekends is way too short...
Time to fly off again. Darn.

Decide to do a tribute to Mr Criag. He must have known that i was shooting him and thats why he was pumped up right from the start.

From a distant... here he comes.

He was so close to me... then again, it could be my zoom lens. I cannot be very sure.

After 90km of bike riding.. Im not sure how i missed out on him for the entire bike section but he obviously knew about it and he was way behind after the bike section.

Here he comes again.

And again...

And again....

And again...

And again...for the last time. He obviously knew he was going to win it. His nearest rival was a long way behind.

And he wins it... For about 2 mins after he won it, i was inspired to join the 2010 Ironman but decided against it because i would most prob drown after 200m out in the sea.

Living in Singapore is fine... Once we get used to this lifestyle, its horrible to even think of living somewhere else. Nvm those Atas kids who think that aust and US are upper class

For the past week, i had an opportunity to live in 'run down' Malaysia.
Yes, 'run down' Malaysia. I saw rats floating in drains and buildings that were left uncomplete since 5 years ago.
Coming from Singapore, these were sights that i wasnt used to..

Despite that, there was something about Malaysia that attracts me.. They say that Singapore is a food Haven. These people obviously havent been to Malaysia.




Dead bloated rat just beside this shop house.. I seriously felt like puking after seeing the rat. Nevermind the smell....



No Pots...just a huge basin.



I swear this is one of the better ZHU Jiao that i tried over the past 5 years..



ZHU ZA TANG!
A pity that 4 of us have to share one big bowl. I swear i could have finish one myself...



And this...is something that you wont even see in Singapore. The kiwis skipped all these and chose to have lean pork meat instead. They seriously do not know what they are missing.
