Perceptions are the truth

I'll never be able to uncover such truths by myself. Im just a puny shrimp...puny brains. Cant think too hard. Will get headache. Hahahaaa......


Singaporeans have been complaining about how public transport cost has gone up significantly over the last decade BUT our dearest Public Transport Council/ Land Transport Authority have always rebut and said that only nominal amount has been added to our transportation costs in the last decade.

In fact, they went as far as

1) Publicizing the fare increases over the past decade
2) Deferring increases sometimes
3) Adding new improved services...dud.

However, in recent years, they have quietly sneak one in from behind the general public.. It has gone unnoticed because its a phenomenon thats happening quietly and in small proportion but very surely..

Put our hands together and let us all welcome the 'SONATAS'...

With a flag down rate of $2.70 ONLY!!!!

NOPE, don't worry, we still have lots of cedrics and crowns running around and their flag down rate is still$2.50.....READ : NO INCREASE (but they would have to fulfil the Euro Emission IV standards and theres no way in hell they can convert so i guess they would have to go at the end of their lifespan but if you can still find them, YOUR flagdown rate will still be at $2.50!)...

Oh well, there you go. I bet no one noticed that. It wasnt long ago when i ran into trouble with my old car and i had to sent it to the workshop for repair. I had my first Mecedes cab experience back then,flagdown rate was $2.40 (norm at that time before the increase). Strangely, they now have a different flagdown rate for different kind of cabs..

I guess this will go down as another reason to get a car. hahah.. make that a red one while you are at it.. =)
