Chinese children sickened by school pressure: study

PARIS : A third of primary schoolchildren in China are suffering from psychological ill-health as a result of classroom stress and parental pressure, according to a study published on Tuesday.

From the Singapore experience, they will grow used to it and stress would become part of their life.
Bt Panjang residents complain new bamboo holders hazardous

Some 2,900 units at Pending Road had their old bamboo holders changed - for free - after they told the Holland-Bukit Panjang Town Council that their bamboo holders were corroding.
The change cost the town council an estimated S$200,000.

Im deeply disturbed. Who is going to be accountable for this 200K? 30 years of building HDB flats and suddenly they decide to change the dimensions of the bamboo holder? I hope Mr Mah accounts for this booboo.
