Im having a particular trying time at work.

1) The people whom i work with like to believe that they live in fairy land. This is another story for another day. I'll pass on this today.

2) I was trying to plan some weekend trips in Dec.. but things are falling apart because of outstanding work commitments.
And so i had the following conversation on FB (no less) with a colleague of mine.
I really wanted to just reply "FUCX" in bold but decided against it because she borders more towards being a friend than a colleague.



i) I was on leave for 1 week.
ii) Nobody covered my shares of duties. I did every single one before i went on leave
iii) And the best part is..while i was on leave, i was actually holed up in another office working ...every single day.

Her job isnt any easier... and i hate to use the word on her.. but FUCK.

South View! Waaoot... This is the very same school that produces students who dirty my void deck every afternoon.
Then again, im not going to take anything way from them... they were the turnaround story of the century.

I remember their school used to be in some obscure little corner in the west. My school bus used to pick up some of their students... and (me) coming from the prestigious HENRY PARK Primary School, i often wonder if their students were ever going to amount to anything...

20 years later...

They are producing top students year after year.... im not sure what happen to HENRY PARK.

Anyway, im a little disturbed.

So how do she score so high mark? i smelling a rats and becoming top students?

I couldnt get myself out of bed this morning because i was so tired from the photoshoot yesterday. My legs were sore and my body just wanna lie in bed.

I seriously think im getting old.

Another milestone closer to D day! Waaaooot!

It has come to a stage in my life that the productiveness of a day is determined by the 1st few hours of the day. Im referring to the hours between 6am and 9am.

At 0930hrs, if im sitting on my doorledge, sweaty, smelly and wondering why the hell am i doing this for.. it would be considered a very productive day.

However, if im in the comfort of my office or in bed at 0930hrs, the day is considered wasted regardless of what else i do for the rest of the day...



10 days to the run.
No chance in hell am i going to get tickets to fly across half the world to attend some lousy conference.. Im going to run! Waaaaooot!

Potential 2009 SCM winner

With my wedding a short time away, my mum suddenly told me that i shouldnt be attending my friend's wedding which are 4 months away from mine. I got alittle frustrated with the rubberband timeline and so i went online to find reasons for this practice.

"Hi fantasty, my hubby n I actually went to see a fengshui master to make sure tat everything is smooth. (Although we r not pantan, juz wanna play safe) :p

During the conversation, he posed this qn to us whether should we avoid attending weddings before or after? My hubby finds it ok, I told him wat i heard was between 3-6mths.

Afterwhich, he mentioned tat if a person is rich, he/she will say 3 mths avoid. If no money, 6 mths avoid. He said tat there is no known fact tat attending other people's wedding will clash.

After discussing with my hubby, we find it true. He also give reasons behind the things of wat should be done which we find it gd cos some geomancer juz say do this n tat w/o explaining. Then as married couple-to-be, we blurr, scared, play safe then blindly follow. If wanna believe, guess everyone clash with each other cos diff zodiac sign ma..hehe No offence to those who look for geomancers.

Im very excited.
I just ran my first 5km run of the season and came within 10secs of my OCS 5km run timing.

I did some calculations while waiting for the lift just now (yes, i was too exhausted after the lung busting 5km run)...

5km - 25mins.
40km - 25 x 8 = 200 mins = 3hrs and 20mins.

42.125km ~ 3hrs 25mins!!!

And i still have 2 weeks to train before the big day!
Waaaooot.... im going to be very fast on the day itself!!

About 2 months back, i went to the tailor. After taking my measurement, i was told to come back in late Sept to collect the items.

Typical me only went to collect today.

The tailor took a look at me and gave a flabbergasted look.
"Its doesnt fit you at all!!"

The good news is that the tortures are working. The bad news is that when i might not fit into those clothes by the time the wedding comes around next year.

I was watching some replay of the Brazil GP 2009.

In it, the Mclaren Merc lollipod man made the booboo of releasing his cars too early. What resulted was a repeat of what happen to Massa in Singapore in 2008. The car took the refuelling hose with it and it didnt stop until he came to the end of the pits.

Strangely enough, the people at Brawn actually helped Mclaren to unplug the refuelling hose so that its car can carry on with the race. Remember what happen to Massa last year? The ferrari mechanics had to run the entire length of the pits to get to Massa's car.

Goes to show that you need friends. Even in Formula one...
